Work continues at Starr Gate on the depot and trackwork, whilst a start has now been made on the depot approach tracks as can be seen in the adjacent photograph. Work has also now started on laying the track on the turning loop, which will lead to the sand plant and the tram wash, which can itself be seen in place in the second photograph.
Elsewhere on New South Promenade, construction of loading platforms is now underway at Burlington Road West, whilst the promenade has been re-opened to pedestrians between the South Beach car park and Pleasure Beach turning circle.
