Apart from the actual relaying of track, other infrastructure works are now evident along the tramway.
1. At Norbreck, preparation for the construction of new loading platforms is well underway.
2. At Little Bispham, widening of the mouth of Princes Way is in progress. The current exit from this road, to the north of the tram station building, is to be closed off.
3. New traction poles are being planted with work having started from Westmorland Avenue and progressing north.
