Trackwork begins

Trackwork has commenced at two sites, with rails now lifted between the Star Hotel and Watson Road on New South Promenade, and from Central Pier to a point close to Coral Island. The work on Central Promenade is being completed in sections, to permit access to the Lifeboat Station, but of note has started with the lifting of rails directly in front of Central Pier which were only laid two years ago.
