The Lancastrian Transport Trust has agreed to purchase three additional trams for preservation. Two of these can be announced - Brush Railcoach 632 and Balloon car 703. The third car remains under discussion.
632 last operated in 2004 but remains completely intact and is in good condition (it's underframe was rebuilt in the early 1990s) whilst Balloon car 703 was mothballed in June of this year. It is still fully operational but needs some repairs, including remedial attention to water ingress.
